Resource Mobilization

Resource Mobilization

It is all about mobilizing resources! As a Non Profit Organisation the Association for Persons with Disabilities in the Free State needs all the resources and support to deliver services. We are passionate about what we do, but the reality is that without sponsorships and donors we cannot deliver the services we strive for ourselves!

With an annual budget of over 4.8 million, the APD Free State renders a service to more than ten thousand persons with disabilities in the Free State.  We have service areas in Bloemfontein, Batho, Botshabelo, Welkom, Bethlehem and Koffiefontein, covering a big part of the Free State and delivering impact services to persons with disabilities on grassroots.

Our focus is on empowerment of persons with disabilities, but the disability sector is still seen as a minority group and we must knock twice as hard on the doors of our sponsors and donors.  The service that we render is giving persons access to life!

We have wonderful support from the public, private, corporate and government sectors, but need more!

You can make a difference by getting involved in the APD Free State through the following:

  • Sponsorships
  • Goods in kind
  • Become a volunteer or a friend of the organisation

Make the decision and become part of this dynamic team!!!
